It's a pretty bold claim, but Researchers At Tufts University found that the consumption of blueberries may reverse memory loss. Try them sprinkled on your porridge or yoghurt or on their own as a simple and healthy snack.
2. Dark Chocolate
A little bit of what you fancy does you good, and this is certainly true for dark chocolate. A 2006 study found that eating a portion of chocolate every day can improve blood flow to the brain, due to the presence of cocoa flavanols, plant based nutrients that are naturally occurring in cocoa.

Broccoli contains vitamin K which has been found to improve brainpower. A scientific study has found that the glucosinolates found in broccoli can slow the breakdown of acetylcholine, which allows the central nervous system to perform properly and keeps our brains and memories sharp.

They also contain tryptophan, which the brain converts into serotonin to boost your mood and combat anxiety and depression. A portion of seeds can also provide your daily recommended amount of zinc, which can help enhance memory.
